1. Privacy at a glance

General information

The following notes provide a simple overview of what happens to your personal data when you visit this website. Personal data is any data that can be used to personally identify you. For detailed information, please refer to the full privacy policy below.

Data collection on this website

Data processing on this website is carried out by the website operator, whose contact details you can find in the "Information on the responsible party" section below.

Your data is collected, on the one hand, when you provide it to us — for example, in a contact form. Other data is collected automatically or with your consent when you visit the website, mainly technical data (browser, operating system, time of access).

Part of the data is collected to ensure error-free provision of the website. Other data may be used to analyze your user behavior.

Your rights

You have the right at any time to receive information free of charge about the origin, recipients, and purpose of your stored personal data. You also have the right to request correction or deletion. If you have given consent to processing, you can revoke it at any time for the future. You also have the right, under certain circumstances, to request restriction of processing, and to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.

2. Hosting

We host the content of our website with the following provider. This website is hosted externally. Personal data collected on this website is stored on the servers of the host. This may include IP addresses, contact requests, meta and communication data, contract data, contact details, names, website accesses, and other data generated via a website.

External hosting is carried out for the purpose of fulfilling our contract with potential and existing customers (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and in the interest of secure, fast, and efficient provision of our online offering by a professional provider (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Where consent has been requested, processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) TDDDG, insofar as the consent covers the storage of cookies or access to information on the user's device. Consent can be revoked at any time.

Host used: DIGITALEWEGE GmbH, Gartenstraße 39, 76133 Karlsruhe, Germany. A data-processing agreement (DPA) has been concluded for the use of this service.

3. General information and mandatory disclosures

Data protection

The operators of these pages take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with statutory data protection regulations and this privacy policy. We point out that data transmission over the internet (e.g., communication by email) may have security gaps. Complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.

Information on the responsible party

The party responsible for data processing on this website is:
AEGYS DATALYTICS AG, Bismarckweg 6a, 82335 Berg, Germany.
Email: service@aegysdata.com

Storage period

Unless a more specific storage period is stated within this privacy policy, your personal data remains with us until the purpose for processing no longer applies. If you assert a legitimate request for deletion or revoke consent, your data will be deleted unless we have other legally permissible reasons for storing it (e.g., tax or commercial retention periods).

Legal bases

Where we obtain your consent for processing operations, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR or Art. 9(2)(a) GDPR (for special categories of data) serves as the legal basis, in conjunction with § 25(1) TDDDG where cookies or similar technologies are involved. Where processing is necessary for the performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR applies. Where processing is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR applies. Processing may also be based on our legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Transfers to third countries are based on the applicable safeguards (Art. 44 et seq. GDPR), including explicit consent pursuant to Art. 49(1)(a) GDPR where applicable.

Recipients of personal data

We pass personal data on to third parties only where this is necessary for the performance of a contract, where we are legally obliged to do so, where we have a legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, or where another legal basis permits it. When using processors, we conclude a data-processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.

Revocation of consent

Many data-processing operations are only possible with your express consent. You may revoke a consent you have already given at any time. The lawfulness of processing carried out before the revocation remains unaffected.

Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR)

Where processing is based on Art. 6(1)(e) or (f) GDPR, you have the right to object at any time to the processing of your personal data on grounds relating to your particular situation. Where data is processed for direct marketing, you have the right to object at any time without having to provide reasons.

Right to lodge a complaint

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of your habitual residence, place of work, or place of the alleged infringement.

Right to data portability

You have the right to have data that we process automatically on the basis of your consent or in performance of a contract handed over to you or to a third party in a common, machine-readable format.

Access, correction, deletion, restriction

You have the right at any time to free information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients, and the purpose of processing, as well as a right to correction, deletion, or restriction of processing within the framework of statutory provisions. You can contact us at any time at the address given above.
